"HEALTH FOR ALL THROUGH THE SIDDHA WAY" was the Motto of SKM Health and Mind Welfare Charity Trust, which was started in year 1989 by Shri SKM.MAEILANANDHAN the Chairman of SKM Group of Companies at Erode, Tamilnadu of South India.

With the blessings of Philosophical saint, Swami Vethathiri Maharishi, the trust is engaged in various developmental works since from its inception with following objectives:

Spreading of Siddha System to the common people to acquire and maintain the health by Natural way.
Scientific documentation of siddha basic principles and medicines to get universal acceptance.
Preservation of our traditional knowledge of the ancient Tamil Science- The siddha system.
Preservation of endangered herbs, endangered Palm leaf manuscripts containing siddha literatures.

Though nowadays, new lights are thrown in the areas of extraction, separation of active molecule of herbs etc. SKM Trust emphasis the traditional mode of application of the system with morden technology.

SKM CHARITY TRUST runs siddha hospitals and a Siddha Pharmaceutical unit with Quality Assurance Lab. The herbs needed for the manufacture of medicines are obtained from our own Herbal Garden established for about 6 Hectares.
