The name SKM Stands for Padma Shri SKM. Maeilanandhan. Chairman, SKM Group of Companies based at Erode District of Tamilnadu, who started his career as General Merchant in a small village Modakkurichi, nearby Erode.0ur SKM Group were into the business of exporting Egg powder by SKM Egg Products Exports (India) Ltd., an ISO, HACCP, SQF Certified factory with NABL accredited Laboratory, exporting to 27 countries of Europe and Asia.


The medicines are prepared in a clean environment by adopting a ng highest degree of plant and personal hygiene to ensure safety and efficacy of the products. All GMP guidelines such as standard operating procedures, Batch Manufacturing Records, In-process Controls and In-House Standards are stringently followed to ensure the highest quality. The quality management plan starts from the selection of the vendors, creating SOP's (Standard operating procedures) for testing of raw material, intermediate product and finished products, and the calibration of the instruments and manufacturing equipment. The Quality Control and Quality Assurance Lab work in perfect coordination with the Production Department at each and every step of the process to maintain international standards of manufacturing.

 

Evolution

AYURVEDA


Ayurveda, the science of life, for prevention of disease and longevity is the oldest and most holistic medical system and that had been practiced for more than 5,000 years, and is considered as the Upaveda of Atharva Veda. The eight branches of Ayurveda are Kaya, Bala, Graha, Urdhvanga, Salya, Damstra, Jara and Vrsa.In Ayurvedic pharmacology, kalpavijnana (pharmacy) is a well advanced branch and wide range of formulations are mentioned in different literatures of Ayurveda.


Siddha


Siddha is a holistic system of medicine in South India founded by 18 siddhars, who were spiritually enlightened persons The system comprises codified procedures for Medicine manufacturing, disease diagnosis by mukkutram (Thiridhosha theory) Nadi (pulse reading) sara payirchi (Flow of respiration) and Attavitha paritchai (8 Types of testing). It uses a special group of herbs called Kayakarpa (Rejuvenation) herbs for treatment and preventive aspects..


UNANI


Unani is a form of traditional medicine of Gracaeo-Arabic origin based on the teaching of greek physician Hippocrates and Roman Physician Galen and developed into an elaborate medical system by Arab and Persian Physicians.


Unani medicine is based the concept of the four humours: Phlegm(Balgham), Blood (Dam) Yellow bile (Safra) and Black Bile(Sauda).
